It’s April Fool’s Day, and the joke is on me! I just realized today is the first day of April, and I have roughly 10 minutes left to get this out on time. It’s 11:46 pm PST, and I don’t think I’m going to make it… Speaking of April 1st, the Flutterbys pictured at the top of this newsletter are in production as I type, and the book is slated for a late-summer 2026 release. This is the fourth in the Gray Valley Series by Paula Baysinger Morhardt, who just happened to celebrate her birthday today! (It’s still April 1st as I type that.) The first three titles in the series are Best Magic of All, Rose Gets Her Name, and Gluggle Finds a Friend. Kayla Olson-Surface continues to create the magical illustrations that have made these titles enchanting to little ones over the years. … Happy April 2nd! ;-) March 2026 brought Fox Pointe a new author and another book! Our newest author, Barb Page, has her first children’s book, Journey to the Northwoods, in production; editing is finishing up, and will move to Kayla’s schedule in a few weeks. This title is set for a September 2026 release. You can read more about Barb and her new children’s book here. Our newest title is Jessica’s New Beginning by Ann Schreiber. This title is the second in the Starting Over Trilogy, and the fourth title in almost two years for Ann. In June, she has two more titles releasing! More on those books below. Amy Gregg, author of the Accidental Farmer Series, while working on the third cozy mystery in that series, has written a new book entitled Media Blitz. It’s a standalone sports romance set in Minnesota, featuring a fictional women's hockey team, which will enter production toward the end of April/early May. It is set for release in September/October of this year. AJ Sullivan is getting in on the ‘2026 New Releases’, too, with a new Beginning Chapter Reader for older children who are in the age range of 6 to 10-years-old. Following the wildly popular title, Finkle & Frannie among kids in that age range, Sunny with Freckles is sure to keep them entertained, too. This title goes into production in June, so more information will be included in the Q3 Newsletter. In the meantime, please check out her current titles on her webpage. The April, May, and June releases are listed below, and as a reminder, the books linked here can be ordered from any bookstore worldwide. If they don’t have the title in stock, with the information found on the Fox Pointe website (listed on the individual book pages), the retailers can also order the book for you.
