I’ll be living amongst the rattlesnakes and scorpions for two more weeks before I start driving north to get off the desert floor prior to summer’s arrival. I definitely don’t want to be down here for the summer temps! 2025 sees a handful of new books releasing: Children’s author Pam McDonald's second Children’s book, Kate’s Crow, will be released later this spring. For more information, click on her name above. Our newest author, Ann Schreiber, has her third book (and first novel) going into design today. If you like a good ‘Hallmark’ movie, you will definitely want to keep your eye on her web page for future announcements on the release date of Emily’s Next Chapter. If the last few processes come together quickly, I’m going to say the end of June 2025. Otherwise, July. Author Amy Gregg has her second novel in the ‘Accidental Farmer Mystery Series’ going into editing this week. If things move along smoothly, I’d go out on a limb and say we might see that release toward the end of 2025. Still too early to say for sure, but fingers crossed. Editing is wrapping up on the debut YA Adventure/Mystery Fiction novel from Andrew Nelson. No release date yet, but once the editing is done, things tend to move a bit quicker. I should know more by the next quarterly newsletter which will be sent out in July from Wisconsin. For myself, the JELLYBEANS Coloring & Activity Book goes into design in April/May. That book is long overdue since I don’t sit still very much. I will say though, with the amount of designing needed, I’d say a release date of late summer/early autumn. There’s never enough time in the day. ;-) We have a few other projects in the works, too. A couple of Children’s books, a debut YA novel, one or two non-fictions are coming in, and at least one other fiction novel to be released between 2025/26. On my way north, I’ll be stopping at various bookstores & libraries, sharing the Fox Pointe catalogue with buyers; the perpetual sales trip. Depending on how the summer schedule pans out, I may do a community event or two for book sales and promotion of Fox Pointe Publishing’s authors. Well, that’s about it for what I can think of to report from the desert. I’ll be on the road soon and gathering new memories and meeting new people - telling them all about our books.
