Journey to the Northwoods
An uplifting Holiday book for young children, The Journey to the Northwoods offers a heartwarming tale of two elf brothers and their journey to find the wood needed to fix Santa’s sleigh in time for Christmas. The book takes them through an exciting journey, showing their struggles, adventures, and ultimate successful journey to fix the sleigh and reunite with their little sister while also giving a nod to the environment and nature.
The book demonstrates the teamwork, love, and admiration between the two brothers. It also has a fun aspect and adventure while on their journey, navigating avalanches, thick woods, and polar bears. The target audience is young children ages 2-10, both boys and girls alike. The book will also delight the adult reader, as it lends itself to fun, exciting reading.
My vision for this book was to help children learn about family, teamwork, love, and admiration for others. It also lends itself to teaching them about the environment and that they can make an impact on it.
